Churchdown Photographic

Course Overview

Churchdown Photographic is an informal group open to photographers of all levels of experience. We have a unique blend of friendly atmosphere, tuition and inspiration - a synergy between a course and a club providing the advantages of both.

We aim to help you enhance your photographic skills and vision by offering tuition, practical photographic opportunities and support to help you develop your individual photographic style. Past course members frequently stay in touch. Some return to top up their knowledge, several have set up their own photographic businesses, some are simply enjoying their hobby further.

Meetings:

We run sessions at Sir Thomas Rich's School. The aim of these will be to provide tuition, explore techniques and also to discuss images that you have taken and either want to share or wish to put forward for comment. Dates for these are on the Meetings page.

Practical Sessions:

We plan a number of short evening Photographic Outings. These will take place on a normal Wednesday evening and will be at fairly local locations. Details for these will given be on the Meetings page. These provide a chance to try something new, and to develop your camera craft and photographic vision.

Trips:

We also organise a number of day long workshops. The aim of these is to allow us to spend more time in each location so you can explore both the location and your photography more fully. These are listed on the Events page.

Please note that the evening outings and day workshops may incur a cost, for example expenses for photographic models or for entry to a location. If this is the case, any additional cost will be indicated with each event.
